Mike founded BCMI in 1994 after working for other large Indianapolis area construction firms. His vision of owning and operating a local firm focused on employee and client success has come to fruition through years of hard work and dedication. He attributes much of the current success to surrounding himself with knowledgeable team members who take pride in each and every project. Mike remains involved in business development, estimating, operations, and strategic planning at BCMI and has established a culture of success that will be evident for years to come.
Steve joined BCMI in 2001 as a Project Manager, bringing with him decades of experience. In 2005, Steve was promoted to Vice President of Operations and has played a pivotal role in the growth of BCMI over the past 20+ years. He utilizes his long-standing relationships with engineers, architects, our project management team, and subcontractors to drive project design, schedules, and budgets. His hands-on approach to overseeing all our Design Build projects has been a proven success, resulting in numerous repeat customers over the years.
Nolan, Mike's oldest son, joined BCMI in 2025 as Controller after working in various accounting roles for Deloitte and Cohen & Co in Chicago. This experience is further bolstered by his education from the University of Dayton, where he graduated Cum Laude with majors in accounting, finance, and entrepreneurship. By utilizing the skills he has learned throughout his tenure in audit and transaction advisory services, Nolan's goal is to continue to strategically grow the business and create lasting success.

John is a 2007 Graduate from IUPUI with a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management and an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology. He joined BCMI in 2011 as a Project Coordinator and worked as a Site Superintendent and Project Manager before being promoted to Director of Operations. In his current role, John oversees all of our public bid projects and a select group of private projects. He is also heavily involved with our estimating department and works closely with owners to ensure the initial project budget and vision align.
Darren started with BCMI in 2005 as a Site Superintendent and has overseen many of BCMI's high-profile projects over the years. Before joining BCMI, Darren owned and operated a commercial and residential framing business, which is the foundation for his success today. As our General Superintendent, Darren is our eyes and ears in the field. He works with and oversees all of our site superintendents and field personnel to ensure each project is running smoothly.
Haley Walker serves as the Operations Manager at Boyle Construction Management, where she oversees the company’s administrative functions, human resources, and operational systems. With over a decade of progressive experience in business management, staffing, and construction administration, she plays a critical role in ensuring organizational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Her responsibilities include employee onboarding, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, and internal process improvement. Known for her strategic mindset and attention to detail, Haley supports company growth by fostering streamlined communication and operational excellence. She holds an Associate Degree in Business Management from Ivy Tech, earned in 2014, and is also a certified personal trainer.
Brock joined the BCMI team in September 2025 after previously working at his father’s companies, Cross Electric and Cross Communications. His career there started at 15, and he was able to immerse himself in everything from day-to-day operations to high-level management. During his tenure, he tripled the size of the company all while increasing profit margins by up to 30%. This was done by forging lasting partnerships across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. Brock plans on applying a deep technical knowledge and skills learned to his role at BCMI.
